Yeah with 5 defensive starters missing for the beef. Buck, terry griffin, and phillips were the only starters from the beginning of he year.
Your secondary is filled with huskers and mcnear picked them apart.

This has to be the first time Omaha won a hard-fought game over a top-level opponent (bonus that it ended a long win streak), and then failed to lose their following game. That's not the kind of slump I'd want to be busting...

Wild 6-1 Beef 4-1 Bandits 4-1 Renegades 4-2 ----------------- Bombers 3-2 Edge 3-3 Defenders 2-4 Haymakers 1-4 Koyotes 1-4 Outlaws 0-6 KC is still in the post season hunt, and now only one loss out of first. I heard one of the reasons for this new league was to have a more competitive league, instead of one team winning 3 or 4 championships in a row. Wasn't there a team that went undefeated for like two years?? Well if that is so, they got what they wanted. 5 of the 10 teams have 1 or 2 loses. It is getting a little crowed at the top of the standings. These next two weeks will do a lot to figure out if KC is for real. Next week we play the 5th place Bombers who are only a half game back of us. Then the week after that we play Sioux City who is only a game up on us. Then you have the Beef and Bandits playing next week. If KC extends their winning streak to 6 we are guaranteed to move up to 3rd, maybe 2nd.

Just too bad there isn't a way of going and seeing both the Bombers/Renegades game and the Wild/Outlaws game next weekend. Sadly, both games are being played at the same time. Oh well, GO WILD!

Standings are updated on the league site www.cpifl.org. Anything can happen in the next few weeks. Amazing to have such a competitive league... love it!

Bandits should be in third in standings, we have head to head win over Salina, not that it really matters but just saying.

When there is a tie in percentage, the next criteria is the difference in points for and points against. Bombers have a larger spread so they are ahead of the Bandits.

I hope that's not the criteria for ties for getting into the post season. That would be very stupid.

Yes a head to head should always be first before anything, so if that is playoff format, that would be very stupid.
