Nice. Amazing he still has it after such a long layoff. Not surprised ...with everything from flag football, coaching football, officiating football, bike work, 5ks, triathlons, and half-marathons,, Chris is probably in better shape than most.

Speaking of Long Layoffs... you'll find out Coffin isn't the only old QB out of retirement. Storm starting QB.. Terrance Bryant.... I saw that. He's not doing too bad either.

What kind of ratio is that? You complete 15 passes and 7 are for TD's. Almost 1 out of every 2 completed passes are for TDs. !!!

Chris Coffin 19-11-1 182 8 34 0 again incredible, 11 completions yield 8 touchdowns With only two weeks remaining in the regular season, games in the Champions Professional Indoor Football League continue to take on added importance. The playoff picture stayed muddled after games in Week 12; however three individual players led their teams to victories and are recognized as CPIFL Players of the Week.Offensive Player of the Week: Chris Coffin, Kansas City Renegades For the second week in a row, Coffin has won the Offensive Player of the Week award. In Week 12 vs. the Kansas Koyotes, Coffin set the league record for most touchdown passes in a game with eight. Coffin was 11-of-19 passing for 182 yards. I am not saying he did a bad job, just wondering if a little consistence at the QB position may help the team. It has to be hard for the wide receivers to get use to a new quarterback every other week. I guess the answer is YES.

I bet there are 4 teams that are very glad that the Renegades are not in the playoffs.

As a proud Dad, Im glad Chris re-entered football this year. So here is the proudest stat I pick up on: In the NFL a TD to INT ration of 1 to 1 is average. Hall of fame QBs like Marino and Elway almost accomplish a 2 to 1 ratio. In indoor ball, one would expect that ratio to double (half field). The good QBs in the league are getting a 2 to 1, even a 3 to 1 ratio. A top competitor has 6 to 1 !!!! But Chris's 26 TDs to 2 INTs or 13 to 1 is absolutely unconscious.
