So I take it no Renegades this year? Its a shame since while I said I was done with the league once the Outlaws left, I was still looking for a team to root for. Now I don't think I will have one. Plus if they relocated to Independence, I would have tried to make at least one game.

No KC Renegades for 2014.
The Saint Louis Attack (in the crazy-rules X-League, owned by Andrew Haines) are the only pro indoor team in Missouri now (at least I can't think of another one off the top of my head).

fwiw, Trevor Whiting is out in Lincoln and Cory Ross is back in.
Dunno what happened, but apparently this was official as of last week.

fairly certain the rest of the coaching staff under Whiting isn't around anymore, either.

That is crazy....I know Coach Whiting has definitely paid his dues and is highly respected in the Arena Football League. I was impressed they hired the staff in the first place and your telling me Cory Ross has that experience. It just goes to show you the level in which this league is going which sub semi pro. Wow

Wow Experience and 'paying dues' does not always make a coach a good fit within an organization. Nothing against him as a coach at all, it could be anything from personality conflict or anything. I'm sure they had their reasons, and it is best to make staffing changes BEFORE the season starts than after.

Speaking of Lincoln, they will again be playing an inter-league preseason game in Grand Island against the Nebraska Danger on February 10.

I think this is the second straight year they've done that.
