I thought the Beef were going to get trounced, but their defense did play good at times. Still, a loss is a loss, no moral victories.

Beef definitely look more productive with a veteran QB, but it's tough to win games win you give up over 62 points a game to non-Kansas Koyote teams. Kind of ironic to watch that and see former defensive coordinator and head coach James Kerwin in the stands at the game. Still haven't figured out that whole staff shakeup from last year for the Beef.

Thanks Doom- Ya what Happened to Coach Kerwin? Great Question... I've always liked what I heard about him and it seemed to me those past teams played with serious intensity....I know players like playing for him.

Tommie Williams just got promoted to head coach in Green Bay, so that makes sense.

Beef got doubled up on by Wichita at home, 33-66. Not surprising, but still ... wish the defense would play better.

Defense is terrible. Every level of the defense has major flaws. Tackling, getting off blocks, being in the right spot on coverages, I could go on and on. Defense probably set a new record for most blown coverage touchdowns....I kid, but seriously how many times is someone going to be standing wide open in the end zone? Offense has made improvements, but that's not surprising with coach Yost leading the way.

Getting Coffin helped on offense as well.

Our kicking game puts us in the hole, great start position for the other team via out of bounds, they start at 25, or the squib kicks that the Wild were fielding at the 20. In several games, it seems like we start at the 5, and the opponent starts at the 25 (or better) .
