Indoor football forum broke the story, the Inferno have folded! Teams facebook account is gone. The UIFL is once again down to just 2 teams (Columbia SC has said they will join in 2015??). IFF is saying the league will have a championship game, 8-0 Corpus Christi hosting Florida Tarpons (Who have won only 1 game on the field, they do have 3 forfeit wins).
This is crazy!
Is this the end of Dittman?

Dittman also owns the Corpus Christi Fury team which will be hosting the Tarpons, so he's not done (but he is done in Miami). The Miami coaches, players, and arena haven't been paid in 3-4 weeks.

Yes I knew he owned CC, but does he still own the team?
Looked like Dittman tried and spent money to market the team in Miami, just too big of a city for indoor ball to work, to many choices for people. Saw a pic of the June 15 game in Miami and it looked like only a few hundred in the arena.

He still owns CC and has abandoned Miami.
I agree, indoor football in Miami seems like a tough sell.

CC has a pretty good following are on the radio and have a good team, city likes indoor football.
I think Dittman was going to own the Austin TX UIFL team, do you think he will start that up again for next season?

Dittman may have a buyer for Austin. If it doesn't pan out, he may make a half-hearted go of it there for 2015.
