I was the only one to pick Saginaw to win this game in Pick em. Good going. This to me was the closest game to pick from this week, and it proved it. Will the next Rochester game feature a third new starting QB in three games this season? Should be an interesting week for Raiders news...lmao. Ownership has been the most quiet since...well, EVER!

LOL...like they'll really be outdoors...while the playoffs are going on without them.
Actually, I think the Raiders will make the playoffs, but it's nice hitting them while they're down due to their past arrogance everywhere online and in person.

I have a question. How is everything so personal in this league? Its like a small town it seems like everyone knows everyone. I dont know any owners/coaches personally but it seems like alot of the people on here do?

I have a question. How is everything so personal in this league? Its like a small town it seems like everyone knows everyone. I dont know any owners/coaches personally but it seems like alot of the people on here do? A lot of us do, but we've been following the sport for some time. The more games you go to, especially away games, the more people you meet, etc, etc. To me, away games are more fun just for the closesness you have with the other fans on bus trips, or carpooling, it becomes a great event. I like meeting the opposing teams' fans the most, always have (I thought it was great to have a couple of Wyoming Cavalry fans sit with us Beef fans at a playoff game in Billings in 2004, and since then I try to always sit with the road team fans as much as possible when I go to games where I'm not a fan of either team. We used to do that in NFL Europe too). On the road you also end up spending more time with the owners, coaches, etc, and from there you meet other coaches, owners, league staff, etc, etc. Some of the league staff, owners and coaches also get online, but if I was an owner I think I'd be more of a lurker. I've seen some owners handle themselves alright, but a lot don't do themselves any favors with some of their posts. I just think if you're a person of importance in the sport you should choose how you use the printed word online a little more thoughtfully than some do. Believe it or not, some fans even make the transition from fan to league staff, team staff and GMs. That definitely wouldn't be for me, as sometimes the more I know the less I like following the sport. Ignorance is bliss indeed! I just try to enjoy the football aspect of it as much as possible and while not ignore the rest, just try to not let it detract from the actual game itself.
