Discuss the RiverCity Rage (1-0) at Maryland Maniacs (0-0) Week 3 matchup here.

I'd be awfully surprised to see an expansion team beat RiverCity in their first game ever.
RiverCity 49, Maryland 20.

Last week we scored more points in a game than we did all last season. Hopefully the offense continues like this for the rest of the season or at least continues this week. I don't see Maryland really being able to hang with us. Cool logo though.

Maryland is a lot like last year's Chesapeake Tide team, I believe with their roster.
Now, if they're getting paid, that's actually a pretty good team. But I'm not stupid.
Rage 67-20.

In front of 200 friends and family, the Maniacs are making a game of this.

Final
Rage 42 Maniacs 24
Bigger margin than last week but from the sounds of it much closer than last week's game. Home opener next week but its looking like I won't be able to be home to catch the game.
I'm happy for the 2-0 start but from the experience of the last several years I'm hoping to see us stay consistent and hungry for the wins. Previous years we've won the first few and then gone on a nasty losing streak. The old saying is true, "Its not how you start, but how you finish."

I dont think they will start lossing and it was only close untill the end of the first half. Then they took control. and semi kept maryland in it with those bad snaps.

Well the trouble the last couple years has been once we get one loss to end our undefeated season the team always seems to come unglued. Luckily I think with the new blood injected into the Rage this year I don't think it will be as big of a problem this year.

Well if the Wichita loss does that to them then I am sorry. Lol jk I can't wait for the game between our teams.

Lol, I think it did that to us last year.
That said I expect that will be the first Rage home game i'll be able to make this year. Should be a fun one.

I haven't yet, but I haven't had time to look very hard for it either. We should have it once the box score is up on qkstats.net (hope it's not too long...it was Maryland's first home game so who knows how the stats were kept...Muskegon in Week 1 took two weeks to finalize theirs).
