I'm not sure, but he may've been the guy that allowed the first TD.

Omaha got a Field Goal to pull within 4, but on the kickoff Abilene returned it for a Touchdown. The PAT was blocked, and Grixby returned it for 2 points for Omaha.

Abilene looks fast, Simpson looks fast, Grixby looked fast on that last play, and Schmeigl looks so-so.

This game is full of big plays so far, it'll be interesting to see if it keeps up or settles down.

Wichita up 14-0 over RiverCity early?...wow.
Simpson playing in his first Omaha game looks as good as he did when playing for Kansas and Sioux City. He's providing a good spark for Omaha so far.

Omaha's been squibbing the kick due to the low ceiling, but so far all it's doing is giving the Ruff Riders great field position or TD returns.

Carter sacked near midfield. Can Omaha finally get a stop on defense? 2nd and 15. Pass incomplete, Whitehurst coverage. 3rd and 15. Tonga blitz pressure on Carter, INTERCEPTED by Talley at 5. Carter's first INT.

Omaha goes nowhere on two plays, then OJ Simpson gets wide open on third down and Schmigl finds him for a 1st down.
1st and 10 pass to Jones into Abilene territory, another first down.
1st and 10 pass to Burrell incomplete, Schmigl hurried it. 2nd and 10 pass incomplete. 3rd and 10 pass to wide open Mike Jones at about the 7.
1st and goal at 7, Schmigl runs to 4 yard line. 2nd and goal at 4, Rollins run for 2 yards. 3rd and goal at 2, Rollins to 1 yard line. 4th and goal, going for it...whistles. TIME OUT Omaha.

Rollins doesn't make it on 4th down. Went up the center and there was nowhere to go. Abilene's defensive line wasn't fooled or stopped on that play.
