I have never seen such a lack of class from any team in my life like I saw tonight. Celebrating a win like that is fine, but coming out and taunting the fans and shouting obcenities at us was totally uncalled for. Act like you have won a game before in your life, but a least 3 players taunting the fans like they had just won the superbowl is totally ridiculous. Call it sour grapes if you want, but a total lack of class from several of these players.

This is coming from a fan of what many think is the most un-classy team in the league, and I don't have a lot to argue back with.

to be fair to the home town fans, how does your clock operator not just let the .4 run off the clock, and see if the refs are doing their job and put time back on. what a great emotional game... but thankfully cooler heads prevailed

I may have over reacted a bit. Like you said, it was an emotional game. Congrats to the Beef on a great win.

It was a great game and definitely worth the pain of driving for the trip. I'll add a trip report soon, wow, what a finish it was. I'm not used to this kind of high scoring though. What happened to defense, oh well, I'll take it. I met some Colorado fans on the field after the game that were very cool, including the one fan chanting in the end zone all game long "Who's House?"...to which the other fans reply "Ice House", nice guy. The game got heated by certain individuals on both sides and by players reacting to fans (who players should know by the time they're at pro level to just ignore) and it was unfortunate, but at least it came out alright in the end, far as I know. One lady was pretty upset after the game, I don't know what about, but she was on quite a rampage. I got to catch up on other games, then I'll post the rest later.

Something about the Budweiser Events Center brings out instant classics between Colorado and Omaha. Man oh man. James McNear played the best game of his career, which is really saying something for a guy that has turned into an elite QB.

Call it sour grapes if you want, but a total lack of class from several of these players. I have no idea what was said or who was saying it, but they just won an emotional game on one of the most emotional plays any of those guys have ever experienced in their sporting lives. If you think they were going to pat each other on the butt and walk through the line shaking hands, I think you expectations were a bit ambitious. Most (all?) of the players from both teams came out and prayed together at midfield after a few minutes, too, so I'm not sure if there was anything earthshattering that transpired. Besides some crazy Colorado women who apparently came storming on the field throwing punches at some of the Beef players and coaches.

I may have over reacted a bit. Like you said, it was an emotional game. Congrats to the Beef on a great win. Like I said before, it was an emotional post after an emotional game. I regret making the original post. It was unecessary.
