Come on Bandits pull this one out! I am only rooting for the Outlaws best interest, I don't have a favorite between these two teams on a day to day basis.

I hate to do this but the refs need to step there game up.. They blew things on both sides.
I know the Bandits benefited from an inadvertent whistle and got another 3rd down shot.
I think they gave us 4 Timeouts in the second half, and the deep pass that was originally ruled an INT, returned, 1st down markers changed, then they decided the ball was incomplete and they gave the ball back to the bandits and had to reset the markers.
There was also a false start by the Bandits and when the Beef player pointed at the RB who made the infraction he was called for offsides.
THIS IS FROM A VETERAN CREW!!!!!!
Heck mabey I need to find out where I can get this job, noone will know I am biased to the Bandits as it excepted as the norm to call things screwed up.

Honestly, I thought Sioux City was the better team last night. Omaha made a few timely stops, got a really good effort from Gradoville, and was fortunate to have 3K behind them screaming in the 4th quarter. Omaha was flat from the first snap, especially offensively. I'm not sure if OJ Simpson is still hurting from that knee injury, or just taking a few weeks to get the rust kicked off, but he hasn't been his dominating self. The offense as a whole looked off, though when you have been as good as they have been for the past month and a half, it's inevitable for a certain degree. But give Sioux City a ton of credit, not much to play for outside of pride, a late arriving bus (they got to the arena at 530/6), and they battled their hearts out. Scott Jensen is an absolute player. Perfect QB for this league. He reminds me of Mike McMahon a bit with the way he can electrfiy on the ground. Good game plan from DeGeorgia offensively. A lot of dinks and dunks that got Jensen into an early rhythm. Speaking of DeGeorgia, though, he might whine more than any coach in the history of organized sports. I don't think there was a moment I saw him that he wasn't in an officials ear arguing about something, though there was plenty to be upset about on both sides.
Sioux City turned the ball over 3 times inside the 10 yardline and that was ultimately the game. Omaha continues to play stagnant against lower competition and that's something that can really bite them if a ball bounces the wrong way come playoff time. Still, the defense played bend but not break ball, and Chris Bradford continues to be the feel good story of the year. A guy who didn't play college ball, got some run with the pitiful Nebraska Extreme of the APFL last season, and has been an absolute godsend to a depleted defensive line.
I was surprised with the talent SC put on the field for a 2-7 team, some big tall receivers and and a few playmakers on defense. And like I said earlier, Scott Jensen can flatout play.
The atmosphere at the Civic tonight was fantastic. Really got loud and intense after that fight and led to a delay of game on the last drive that very well might have been the difference in the game.
Sioux City should be happy with the way they fought, and Omaha should be happy they survived. It gets no easier for Omaha in the new arena in Wichita, taking on a Wild team fighting for their playoff life and gave Omaha a real run in the first game of the year.
Still, it's hard to be too critical at an 8-2 football team. They fight and they fight hard. Need to find a way to put teams away, though.
