Sorry, my bad. You simply squeal like a Storm fan. No, I "squeal" like someone that knows the IFL is a farce. It's a terrible league run by idiots. They can't even get officiating right, and we're supposed to believe this league is better than anything else out there? What a joke. Have you seen everything else out there?

He's seen enough i'd guess, as we all have.
It doesn't take a lot of looking to know that indoor football, on the whole, is not where it should be.
The IFL is doing only marginally better than any of the other indoor league. Coach Riggs indicated in his post game interview with Rich Roste this last week that he has been personally reprimanded by the league for being outspoken against the other owners and the commissioner. Why? Surely he has a right to express his disillusionment and his frustration.
I suppose we all thought, wished, or hoped the IFL would take what has worked in the past, and address the things that have been neglected in the past. the people in charge have been through enough to know and the league should have looked to be the best we've ever seen. what has happened however is that the IFL has been middling with respect to what we've seen in the past. They're certianly not any better than the NIFL or the UIF or the IntFL that preceded them. Why... well to be honest the answer is egos and money. the rest has been discussed ad nauseam in other forums that we've all read.

And the IFL is marginally, if any, better. They've got the teams that don't pay players (Saginaw), they've got questionable officials (everywhere), they've got the requisite "team drawing 500 fans a game" (Maryland, perhaps Alaska)...they've got incompetent management (Benizio)...other than them having a few of the better organizations in the sport, the IFL is the other leagues with double the budget.

I think that sums it up perfectly Josh.

Officials have always sucked. I dont't think anyone complains about a blown call or two, but that they never seem to understand the rules. Even the most basic things like fumbles OOB(the best we could come up with), the distance a ball must travel before the kicking team can recover the onside, or what to do when there is fan interfriance. Hell the last Bandits home game the Wild had a holding call on the Defense and the refs didnt give SC an automatic first down.

You noticed that to, im glad i wasnt the only one at the game that did, its a good thing we scored that drive, lost anyway, but i really thought the refs could get the most basic of calls right

Coach Jose Jefferson was fired from Stinkin Lincoln for speaking out against CS and the NIFL. Major difference. CS was Jose's boss (she ran the Caps at that point). Benizio isn't Riggs' boss.

We expect perfection and hope for something that's semi-fair. The screwing of teams and poor officiating appears to be the norm in this industry. So, yeah, we'll still enjoy the games and beat on each other in the forums because we enjoy it - we're football fans and this sport is the primary one in most of the cities it's played in. BTW Yellowstone, where have you been? Last I saw you, you were getting chased for trying to steal footballs from the Fayetteville Guard in the NIFL Championship game.
