lol, the maniacs finally get a chance to prove they are no fluke. They are the only team to really give it to rochester this year. The storm game was very close to the last 2 minutes. When we played Maryland, they dominated us in the second game. Maryland wins by 15.They stake their claim as a consensus title contender after this win.If "omaha"who lost to the wild is considered a contender, how could a team with a win in Bloomington not be considered one? They are getting no respect right now. That will end with a win over Bloomington.

I assure you, the only real title contender is Billings.
Wichita is much improved, and played Omaha close both games. should Omaha get the top seed out of their division, traveling to Maryland, or more likely River City would like be their undoing, and pave the way for an absolute slaughter in the championship game in Billings.

Yeah, at this point the race is simply the team that will go to slaughter.

and Omaha was without their starting QB. McNear played in Wichita, but unfortunately wasn't able to practice the week leading up to the game. McNear has only missed one game and that was at Abilene, where Schmigel came in and played great for the win.

They have my respect, 10-2 in an expansion year, handed Rochester two losses, etc. That said, they don't have my full consideration that they're a top team just yet. If they beat Bloomington, and Rochester on the road, they'll have that from me. I think that's fair, don't you?
