oh wow where to begin w/ this game. well i knew something was up 1st snap of the game when avery was in at QB. there is no hint of dutton injury from the rage website so i figure after last weeks 10 point game dutton left. i dont think the bevis was injured but he did sit in the crowd watching the game. i think but am not 100% sure $$$ is a problem. the rage the last few weeks have just been playing uninspired football, and now w/ dutton and bevis i think the rage will get whiped by the wild next week and will lose in the 1st round. once again the attendance tonight was the lowest it has probably been thanks to the non-market movement of the front office. its sad to say but i think i witnessed the final home game for the rage franchise

I hope Dutton didn't leave. The Rage would definitely be in a world of hurt after releasing Wooten.
Who's the GM down there? I can't believe there's been no marketing. They'll be back next year.

Aebischer....the guy who did the MC of the on field promotions this time last year

i tell ya what tho, jeff sprowls was sure fired up last night. like the 1st play of the game the rage were stopped at the goaline (it was a TD but the ref marked him at the .5 yrd line) and sprowls jumped out of his box right behind me(i was sitting in the corner on the goaline) and just ran down the section to give the ref an ear full....(kind of funny when 1 of the generals DBs told sprowls to stop crying and sprowls heard it).
but then for like the rest of the Q sprowls was like running all over the section yelling and high fiving people.

Jeff is always fired up, I like that about him. He really loves the game and gets into it. The Sprowls have been the best Beef owners ever I think, and I sure hope they never sell the team. I'd also like to see them get a better front office in RiverCity, or at least someone who will market better. He had fun when us Beef fans made the trip to RiverCity, rooting against us (since he's the primary owner of the Rage, while his Dad is primary owner of the Beef), but you could tell he loved the fact that both teams played great.

Who's the GM down there? I can't believe there's been no marketing. They'll be back next year. The other Sprowls is suppose to be running the show here. John Aebischer is the GM whom I just had a nice conversation with earlier this week and didn't even realize it. I was doing the PA for Senior Legion baseball team that he has been coaching for the last several seasons. He has also with working with the FO's of some other minor league teams and the Rage. Man wish I had turned our conversation to the Rage! That said I don't like the direction this team is going either on or off the field. We seem to be throwing away our season early and it might not be getting any better. I hope this isn't the end of this team altogether but it seems to be heading that way.
