Only when you have Wooten. As I said, River City's loss is Wichita's gain. Without him Wichita would just be an average team with a guaranteed one and done in the playoffs. Instead the Rage are in that position.

Bloomington is a huge unknown with so much time off. They'll be healthy, but rusty. Omaha has to play the best team in the league in the last week, and i'm not sure has wrapped up the #1 seed.
Wichita has a chance to travel to Rochester or Maryland...

Billings has the number one seed wrapped up. El Paso would have to make up a 160 point deficit in points differential in the span of one game...not going to happen.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that BT was referring to Omaha not having the number one seed locked in the Central division. Billings definately has the #1 spot in the league on lock.

Yes, Omaha has to beat Billings to get the #1 seed in the United Conference. Bloomington would get the #1 spot if Omaha loses.

And why in all that is Wichita still claiming to have a chance to host a playoff game? And yes - no doubt without Wooten one and done for Wichita.

If Omaha had wins taken away from it, they would have. That was what was being stated by certian Storm front office types that weekend. James SHOULD have waited a few days to say anything, but I'm sure he knows that.

I know - and that what I thought. But even SINCE that was announced, that there were no wins taken away, they are still saying there is a chance. Maybe the media just misunderstood - not like they pay attention to it.

Well, there IS a rumor that Rochester does NOT have any dates reserved for home playoff games, and should they win the Atlantic conference, they would host Wichita. but where? So, the "maybe" factor is still there.
of course, the league will not confirm anything for anyone.

So, the "maybe" factor is still there. of course, the league will not confirm anything for anyone. Rochester will be hosting RiverCity on a Monday, and if they win they'll host Maryland the next week (Maryland is without a venue for the playoffs). Rochester would only get further playoff games if Wichita came out of the Central for the United Conference Championship and someone other than Billings or El Paso for the Title Game. If these scenarios do happen, Rochester would most likely find a way to play somewhere.

So, the "maybe" factor is still there. of course, the league will not confirm anything for anyone. From goifl.com: The Rochester Raiders professional indoor football team, and member of the Indoor Football League (IFL), have earned a first round home playoff game thanks to their successful season. The Rochester Raiders will be hosting the RiverCity Rage on Monday July 20th. The winner of this game will earn the right to host the top-seeded Maryland Maniacs on July 27, due to a scheduling conflict with the Maryland Maniac’s arena.

Wichita is thinking they would host the United Championship, if Rochester was to win the Atlantic and Wichita the Central. Wichita currently holds a 79-point margin in the tie-breaker. However with the Raiders playing Muskegon this weekend, that margin is more than capable of dissappearing.

However with the Raiders playing Muskegon this weekend, that margin is more than capable of dissappearing. Correct. Rochester will beat Muskegon and finish at 9-5, one better than Wichita. Wichita could host a game if RiverCity comes out of the Atlantic since they beat them 2-1 heads up. They could host the title game if a team with a record worse than 8-6 makes it from the Intense Conference and there are at least 3 of those.

again, it's crazy to think Wichita could actually host the championship game when they really didn't earn a playoff spot by themselves!
