It was a great game. Lots of fun. Hymes was a little rusty but he's going to be a good QB that will do well with Abilene in the playoffs. Great crowd for a July 4th game, probably a little over 4,000 in actual attendance. The July 4th specialty jersey that Abilene had on were beautiful, as are the ones that El Paso are wearing.

Any pic's of Abilene's and El Paso's jerseys anywhere?

you went all out for the 4th eh Brandon? Well, I really can't take any of the credit. My GM in Abilene does a great job and he runs the show out there. The city of Abilene should also be commended. They really helped out by having their fireworks show across the street from the Expo Center, which took place after the game. A lot of people spent the afternoon tailgating and celebrating the 4th in the parking lot which made both the game and the fireworks show easily accessible for everyone. The city of Abilene, as well as the entire community, has bent over backward for us all season long and been extra supportive. The Ruff Riders is definately their team. Thanks Abilene. You guys have been great all season.
