Let actually talk some football on this board, and the subject is the El Paso Generals. While I like my Outlaws chances against anyone I don't know a thing about the Generals.
Did they benefit that much from playing in the Lonestar to get to 13-2? Or they a really good team that does not have a lot of people talking them up here? Or finally is a combination of the first two.
The unfamiliarity of the Generals has me worried(I am paranoid anyway) and was wondering if the great football minds on this board has any info for me.
My biggest comfort is the Outlaws are 30-3 at home and 7-0 in the playoffs at home under Coach O'Neal.

They will be a tough out. They are an offensive juggernaut and are good at the quick strike. I think the Outlaws will take them, with their advantage on defense. The Generals ran over the lonestar division, but I didn't see much defense coming out of there. The Generals handed the Raiders at home pretty easily, so they are definitely going to give Billings a run for their money.

Losing Landry hurts bad, so I hope we've recovered from that enormous loss. Something to note is that IF El Paso had to play 6 games against Sioux Falls and Omaha like we did, you could see 0-6 for them, and I'm not kidding. Logic dictates a Billings blowout, but niceties dictate I say this should be a close game. Main thing for me to add is that Billings is #1 in the IFL in rushing offense while El Paso is dead last. 63 - 42 Outlaws, final score.

Yes, I know. Still, they should be able to pull the game out at home without him.

The Generals have fans, there playoff game was well-attended.
El Paso to Billings is pretty far though, I can't see any fan making it for a first year team. We've had fans fly up there before and as far South as Tennessee Valley.

wish there was some El Paso fan's to talk trash with........ I'll represent them. Billings won't be able to handle us, our offense is going to show them how it's done. United Bowl will be in Texas next week, you UIF posers. Yeehaw.
