All I am saying is SFS had their chance as well as Wichita and Wichita came through--- the EC didn't change SFS losses to wins for the Wild......they were not "handed" a spot, they still had to win the rest of their games, one loss by Wichita and the Storm is in.
If the Storm's defense covers James Walton and Willie Austin on the final two plays of that game on April 25, they win and are sitting in the conf. champ game tonight....
If El Paso wins the title it is legit, if River City wins the title it's legit (oh but they were "handed" a home game they shouldn't have gotten) and if Wichita wins by beating either Billings or El Paso, THAT IS LEGIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least the Wild could beat a number one seed (omaha) two out of three times, something the Storm didn't (Billings 0-3).
And yes I know the Storm beat Wichita twice

SFS earned their spot. They won every game they played except those three against the Outlaws.
the Wild were HANDED a spot because the Storm were stripped of the victories they earned on the field. The victories that put them ahead of every team in their division and conference. But the players for the Storm had their shot taken from them.
and as far as RiverCity goes with the home field thing, that's an issue for the Maryland ownership group to figure out...if they are back next year...

Hope that goes well for you Bananna Cat, don't bank on a quality feed from Billings, they are hit and miss! Just like most of our kickers have been until midway through this year.

Sioux Falls finished two games behind Wichita in the standings actually, so they would've had to win two of three from Billings to be in. Their destiny was in their hands, I agree, but Billings took it away. It can be debated from here to eternity but we'll never really know what would've happened if the Storm front office hadn't messed up and had 5 wins taken away by the league, except that Wichita wouldn't be in the playoffs as the format is setup this year. Like it or not that was the penalty imposed for them, fair or unfair. Part of being a professional team is carrying insurance, and while the players aren't responsible, the team itself is, and that's that. Whichever team wins the title did all they could and I won't hold anything against them. The Pottsville Maroons also got jobbed, so this is nothing new.

SFS earned their spot. They won every game they played except those three against the Outlaws. Auburn had sanctions imposed against them not long ago so they were ineligible for a bowl game and all they did is go undefeated that year. They didn't a shot at a title game though and instead one-loss Florida was declared the national champion. How the front office does things does affect the players and the Storm front office messing up screwed them this year. Auburn didn't get to play in the playoffs and neither does the Storm, that's the bottom line unfortunately.
