I believe that in 2009 the Ice will finally make their move to being a top team. Under Sanders they've had two great years to start off with, but this past season they had a brutal schedule. This new league should help give the Ice a slightly easier time and once they get into the playoffs anything can happen. You heard it here first, the Ice will be great in '09.

Sanders hasn't proven to be able to do anything beyond be average without the crutch of a Danny Ragsdale or Chris Schwab. Find a really good pivot, then watch out. If not, Colorado will continue to flounder even though they've got talent.

A good QB would help, but what he's done without one to start off an expansion franchise has been great too.

With quality ownership in place and Sanders being able to focus completely on football I would expect them to reach our expectations for him and the ICE.
They are going to be good but they have a little work to do if they are going to consistantly challenge the leagues elite and their resources.
I really like the QB they have now - it will be interesting to watch his growth.
