Picking San Diego may come back to bite me since LT is probably out due to a torn muscle near the groin (even if he plays he'll be ineffective with that) and Antonio Gates is injured again. Not good. I can't change my pick now, but if I had to pick it over I'd change it. Injuries is the one thing you can't predict though, so oh well.
Kurt Warner just threw an awesome TD pass to put Arizona up 7-0 early in the first playoff match, what a catch. They closed the dome top and it's very loud in that desert dome.

Arizona defeats Atlanta 30-24 in the desert dome to win the first wild card game...a great playoff game.

Standings (after 1 Wild Card Game)
Pts Name 1 Kosiski 0 Banana Cat, CF4L, Doom, GrimReaperz, Purple Bear, RCRageFan,
Kosiski was the only one to correctly pick Arizona and takes the very early lead. Doom's chances to take it all were severly hurt since he had Atlanta going all the way...ouch.

three first downs by penalties on the final drive? wow. NFL officials give SD the game, gotta love it...not. I saw the game, and the final drive...a hold, a facemask, and the other penalty were all valid. Bottom line, don't commit a foul and you give yourself a better chance to win. Gotta love it...yes! Great game. 5th elimination game in a row that the Chargers have won now.

Kosiski was the only one to correctly pick both Arizona and San Diego and takes the very early lead. Doom's chances to take it all were severly hurt since he had Atlanta going all the way (ouch) and CF4L also lost an important piece of his bracket when Indy went down in OT.

I picked Baltimore because they are the shiznet on defense and their running game has been awesome as has their time of possession. They also have the most takeaways of any team, so I see a hard fought and hard hitting game taking place, one I can't wait to see, with the Ravens coming out on top. I picked Minnesota in the other matchup because of two reasons...Adrian Peterson...in the Metrodome...nuff said.
As far as knocking Kosiski off the lead, the first round games are only worth 1 pt each, so his lead is minor right now...it's the later rounds that matter since the point values increase dramatically. Kosiski is looking good early though, but it's only 2 games into the 11 game tourny, so anything can happen.

Ya, i know but he picked Baltimore to go deep and Minnesota to win next week, so if both lose it should knock him back a bit.

Standings (after 3 Wild Card Games)
Pts Name 3 Kosiski 2 Banana Cat 2 Doom 1 RCRageFan 1 Purple Bear 1 GrimReaperz 0 CF4L
Kosiski was the only one to correctly pick all of the first 3 wild card games and maintains the early lead. Banana Cat and Doom are right behind with 2 pts, RCRageFan, Purple Bear, and GrimReaperz are next with 1 pt, and CF4L struggles out the gate with 0 pts. Doom and CF4L have lost important parts of their brackets and will need help to win the challenge.
