...for whatever reasons (though I'd say more weight goes to on-field ability than anything): greatest fans, sponsors, whatever, can also be included. And indoor football teams that are now in the af2 don't count!

Good Poll I'll have to think on this before I make my decision.

Greyhounds, definitely. Although Peoria (two titles in two different leagues) would get my vote if they hadn't been resurrected...but I'm not sure if that is technically the same team or not since the original folded...tough call there.

Going to have to go with Rome Georgia on this one. It was a very well ran franchise.

My choice is obvious, but im going with the Hounds. So many good memories following them around. To not pick them. Plus they had the Greyhound Girls as well.

I have seen quite a few different Indoor football leagues as my son played in at least 5 leagues. He started in the old IFL with the Green Bay Bombers for 1 year, he then went to the AFL with the Toronto Phantoms 1 Year + Training Camp, he them was reassinged to the Tennesse Valley Vipers for 2 seasons, then he went to the Fort Wayne Freedom for 2 years, he then went to the Port Huron Pirates for there undefeated season and GLIFL Championship. He retired after that season, however he has been contacted to possibly play for the Saginaw Sting this upcoming season. as of yet he has not made a decision as if he will play or not. Before he played indoor football he played for the Southern Michigan Timberwolves that was the year they played for the National Championship against the Marlboro Shamrocks. He played his college football at the University of Cinncinati. For your information his name is Chris Bell. " And my choice is the Port Huron Pirates and the reason is that when they won the Chapionshipship of the GLIFL they were only the 4th team in the history of indoor football to go undeafeated for the season."
