just a reminder that Colorado is the worst team in the league potentially. I wouldn't take anything away from this game except the W

A W is a W? I was told it would be 2 W's but you've posted 1,300 more times here than I have so you know a lot more about this league than I do. ;-)

Worst team or not I think the 3 of us have seen enough games to tell that the team was clicking much better last night. As I said before they are not at championship level yet, but I see light at the end of the tunnel.

:-P I remember you guys from the niffle days, rest assured I trust your judgment on what the team looked like. I'm just hoping the Outlaws are still a bit off the 2nd weekend in June. I'm disappointed I cant make that game

Way too many penalties (11 Outlaws, 6 Ice) AT HOME! I still have my doubts about our team. We shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly yet again. This should have been a 50-point win over a vastly inferior team. Does anyone keep stats on Hail Marys allowed? I guarantee Billings has everyone else doubled this season. It's sickening how the Outlaws simply hand over long bomb after long bomb. Other notes are the ignorance of Outlaws players regarding what they should or should not do in a game. Colorado got a penalty for throwing the ball into the stands and an Outlaw (Linscomb) did it just a few minutes later. At least he signed it first. Jacka$$. I am doubting our coaching. Coach O showed he can take a team to the Championship, but if you do it and sacrifice your discipline, it's not worth it. New face Bloom was awesome for the Outlaws. 8 catches for 101 yards and 3 TDs - in his first game! I thought shaking up the roster would help and it did. We just need our defense to step up. I agree with Outlaw on a few things and disagree on a few as well. First thing I agree on is Bloom...He was awesome today. Looks like he will work great alongside Casmier and Walton. For some reason Burrell never fit in here, hopefully things work for him now that he has moved on. Tim Brown at RB was great as well. It is great to have him back! Billings should have won by more, I agree. But, I will take a 24 point win anytime. The hail mary at the end of the first half for Colorado was pretty bad, but I (and the Colorado bench) thought the Ice got away with a push off. I sit right behind the visitors bench every week and I can always get a feel if a play was called right or wrong by asking the opposing players and coaches. I thought Linscomb throwing the ball in the stands was hilarious. Former Outlaw Jacqwuan Brackenridge was sitting directly behind me and threw Linscomb a Sharpie after his TD. Linscomb then signed the ball and threw it and the Sharpie back to Jacqwuan. Well worth the penalty! I talked with Colorado's Coach Sanders after the game and I felt bad for him and the Ice. They have been killed by injuries to the QB all year. First they lose Bozeman in the opening game, then lose Millus who had played the last couple games to a rib injury. Ellis started for them tonight and was ineffective for the first quarter and a half. They benched him and put in Miles Scheer and he led them down the field and scored on his first possession. He goes in for his second series and breaks his ankle. Tough luck. I thought the all of Ice players were very good guys and were fun to talk smack with. Things don't get any easier for the Ice. Their next 4 games are back to back with Amarillo, Sioux Falls and Wichita. They might be 0-9 after that stretch. I thought the Outlaws played their best game of the season, but there still is a lot of room for improvement. I am glad this is the last Sunday game of the season. THEY SUCK! Saturday night games always have more attendance and the crowd is into the game more as well. Billings is 4-1 and have Alaska coming next week. Then on the road to Tri-Cities and Kent. Should be 7-1after that and ready to make the playoff run. Yellowstone, I agree with almost all your thoughts. The one I disagree on is the autographing of the ball and tossing it right over the opposing team's bench. It looked pretty classless to most folks. I guess I'll never be a fan of poor sportmanship or intentional penalties. That action is also part of the major problem this team has - arrogance without really proving anything this season. But to have the ball go to Q made it even worse (JaQass). I know him well from City League football years past and he is the only person I know of to ever to be thrown out of that league. And the penalty was on Linscomb, who was vastly outplayed by Timmy Brown and had no reason to celebrate like a rock star. The whole situation should have been avoided. I absolutely hate chipping on my team, but most of the things we have to clean up start with Discipline. We are severely lacking in that category. That being said, I honestly believe the Outlaws have the talent to repeat as champions. We just need to start acting like one.
