four words....
This game scares me...
Not sure if our offensive line will be able to contend with Mr. Williams -- I am sure they will line him opposite of Miniya and leaving us to have to likely double him with Charlie and Gerald...just sayin...
I Am glad to welcome back Joey Longoria to Billings...he should get a nice reception from the crowd on Saturday...was always a fan favorite back in 2006 when we won our first title!

I'd be really surprised if Billings loses this, anything is possible, but I got Billings by double digits.

I KNOW I WAS ABOUT TO SAY THE SAME THING. I HAVE SEEN SAN ANGELO IN PERSON AND THEY R A GOOD TEAM. THEY HAVE SOME BIG PHYSICAL RECIEVERS AND A VERY ACTIVE DEFENSE. I WILL WATCH THIS GAME VERY CLOSE. BILLINGS CHRIS DIXON IS A GREAT PLAYER AND WILL NEED HELP FROM HIS RUNNING GAME THIS WEEK CAUSE THEY GAVE DIXIE WOOTEN HELL FOR 3 QUARTERS, BUT HE LEAD HIS TEAM TO VICTORY AT THE END. SAN ANGELO IS A VERY VERY TOUGH TEAM.

GAME NOTES:
San Angelo comes into the game with a 11-4 record. They finished in second place in the Lonestar East Division during the regular season and beat Fairbanks 45-35 in the 1st Round of the Playoffs. San Angelo is 4-3 on the road this season.
Billings comes into the game with a 13-2 record (1 win was a forfeit win). They finished in first place in the Pacific North Division and beat Tri-Cities 54-45 in the 1st Round of the Playoffs. Billings is 8-0 at home this season.
These teams met once before back in 2005 when they both played in the NIFL. Billings (known as the Mavericks for that year only) went into San Angelo (who were known as the Stampede only...no Express in their nickname until 2006), and San Angelo won 42-34.

Are all the Outlaws fans like Mr. Minch (blgsoutlawsblog) scared of San Angelo? Not Yellowstone! It will be a close game for the first quarter while the Outlaws adjust to the big o-line and Derrick Ross. But Billings has more talent on both sides of the ball and will pull away in the second half. Outlaws 60 San Angelo 45

Yellowstone...Not scared of San Angelo just scared of the second quarter from last week showing up again and if that happens against the Stamped Express -- Our season's over.
We haven't been tough against the run all season really...I remember Bobby Purify running for 80-90 yards on us.
We have the league's fourth-worst run defense while San Angelo boasts the league's Fourth-best running attack.

I also wonder about the lights in the sportsplex.. perhaps a day game gives better light than at night.. translucent roof?

Outlaws win 66 39. Ross was never a factor and the Outlaws rolled. My first time watching a game with Yellowstone. Nice to be the one who doesn't taunt the other team the most. And just my opinion but the Sportsplex is not the same as the Metra but it sure beats going on the road.

It was disappointing to see we couldn't even sell out the SportsPlex. They really should cut the ticket prices. Ross was still a beast. He was brushing off Outlaws left and right. Once we got a huge lead, their running attack didn't stand a chance.
