In 1998 professional indoor football was first created under the name of the Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL). It was the second league to play indoors on a 50-yard field after the Arena Football League. The Louisiana Bayou Beast defeated the Madison Mad Dogs 42-41 for the 1998 PIFL Title.
In 1999 the PIFL folded and the remnants of the former teams formed two competing leagues, the original Indoor Football League (IFL) and the Indoor Professional Football League (IPFL). The Green Bay Bombers, an original PIFL team, won the 1999 IFL Title and the Hawaii Hammerheads won the 1999 IPFL Title.
If you were following the sport back then, which team (Green Bay or Hawaii) do you think would’ve come out victorious if those two champions had met on the field, and why?

I'm going with the Green Bay Bombers. I think the Green Bay Bombers were not only the better team, but that their competition in the IFL was better as well.
