The NFL suspended New York Jets strength coach Sal Alosi for the rest of the regular season and the playoffs without pay for his intentional tripping of Miami Dolphins cornerback Nolan Carroll on Sunday. He was also fined $25,000.
Some people feel that his punishment is too harsh while others think it should be more severe.. what are your thoughts?

It might be severe in some eyes, but I think he agrees that he's lucky he wasn't fired.
25k and not getting paid for the last three games of the season is a lot for one in his position, then add on the humiliation/embarrassment and I know he's definitely remorseful (but everyone usually is after the fact...that was thuggish behavior at it's finest). Imagine going home to face the family, the wife has to be saying wtf.
I think the NFL did the right thing to ensure this won't happen again though.

25k seems to be the "normal" fine for things in the NFL these days... but there is no way that this guy makes nearly as much money as the players who gets fined this same amount, so it would hurt a lot more in the pocketbook.
Also, There were 6 different coaches all lined up as close to the field as they legally could be... looked to me like they were told to be there to be in the way, he just took it a little too far by sticking out the knee.
What he did was obviously still wrong, but I wonder if the team has some blame here too, since someone probably told those coaches to be there.

I find it hard to believe they were told to be there. If you watch every game the sidelines are full of people who don't need to be there just outside the white line. I find it ridiculous the amount of people they have on the field, but it's become the norm.

25K off of a 200K salary is better than losing all 200K

Alosi update: Jets suspend Alosi indefinitely! The team found "new information" that the Alosi "instructed" five players to stand in a wall before he tripped Dolphins Nolan Carroll...

You have a better eye than I, I just thought it was the normal situation of too many people on the sidelines getting in the way. Turns out I was wrong and you were right. But also like you mentioned, I'm wondering if Alosi is indeed the highest person in the food chain that gave those orders.

If you look at this picture, it was just too perfect they way they were all lined up. I thought it had to have been planned. I agree with you completely there are too many people on the sidelines anyway, but most don't look so organized.

Talk around the league seems to think Alosi wasn't the man who came up with the idea...that it was probably the head coach...and that it happens with other teams as well.

Could be worse, that's pretty tame I think. The swingers part is funny though.
Is that what passes for sexy feet though??? My wife and many of my ex-girlfriends have way better feet than that IMHO.
Even my feet look tons better after I got that Easy Feet shower cleaning device (makes cleaning feet easy and works great...I recommend it).

All I need now is to polish my nails and they'll be perfect. I'll start posting videos on youtube under the name "LeftFootLeftFootRightFootRight." Bonus points to the first person who can identify where that quote came from.
