Can anyone tell me where I can find the IFL rule book? I have searched everywhere on the web and cannot find one. Sometimes at the games the officials will make a call and I'm (and everyone around me) scratching my head to figure it out.

I don't believe they're published publicly. This is the closest thing I could find, but it's just general info pretty much: www.goifl.com/history/101/

The 101 thing is the closest I have ever come to finding a "rule book" as well. It is rather frustrating at times isn't it!

I just sent an E-mail to Commissioner Benizio. He's fast in his responses, so I should know by tomorrow whether it's yea or nay.

just like any other indoor league, its tough to have a written rulebook when the leagues just tend to make things up as they go along.

Commissioner Benizio was as prompt as ever. I have to hand him that, he's always great at replying quickly and either has the answer or refers you to the appropriate person. Here is the 2011 IFL Rulebook for download: www.megaupload.com/?d=BNBM1KZPIf you have problems getting the attachment, let me know and I'll E-mail it to you.

The download worked great. Thanks BC.
I asked for this last year and got nowhere. (but I didn't go to Tommy B)

I found the part the gave La Crosse an extra loss last year ... "Illegally throwing the ball far into the stands...". Even though the word "far" is a bit ambiguous, at least I can tell it actually was in the rules, even though they never called it at any other game. There are other interesting rules to be aware of in there about Fan Interference, and Music/PA Interference. Good to know anyway.

CF4L.. that would be in the policies and procedures manual, which is not the same as the on-field rules.. if BC wishes to ask for a copy of the policies and procedures manual...
of note thus far in the rule book is field goal by drop kick is 4 points.

Do people here want the policies and procedures manual? I saw the drop kick rule in there...a good rule for desperate teams.
