Obviously. We're just talking about wishful thinking here and getting rid of our frustrations. Most of us know from past experience that nothing will get fixed. It will get better as the season goes along, but the stats will be about 65% accurate by season's end.

It's pretty pathetic that Haines' league is smoking you in the stats department (or any department, for that matter).

This stats program is actually very easy to use. I prefer it to the old program. I don't understand why so many teams are having issues with it. You just have to take the time to learn the program. The game is fast paced though and if you fall behind you're in serious trouble.

Yes. You need a spotter or two if possible. I know I would have a hard time doing it alone.

You absolutely need a spotter. Its nearly impossible to take in every detail of every play on your own and get it all entered into the computer before the next snap. Plus, if you have a computer glitch or enter something wrong and need to correct it, your spotters can write down the next couple of plays and help you get caught back up. It really helps to be familiar with the game of indoor football, its rules, intricacies, etc. If you've only seen a couple of games, makes it real hard to score one.
Where there any problems with the live stats from last night's Storm/Venom game?

Where there any problems with the live stats from last night's Storm/Venom game? Not from what I saw... I didn't watch it too closely, but every time I checked the stats, it looked right.

totally disagree with you exit322, the league does care but alot of teams could not handle the added expense of paying for a professional stats person. The guys in Fairbanks do it for tickets to the game, thats it. they are part of the group who gave money to save the team, they do it because they want the team in town. Period

Statcrew is the name of the program used before Pointstreak (DakStats in-game scoring). Most of the stat people that are good, work or have worked in college football as they use Statcrew for the NCAA.
I prefer Statcrew over DakStats for entry and live stats. DakStats is too much tabbing for me and takes alot longer to enter plays into, then you have to deal with Pointstreak's interface and thats a pain but not hard. Plus it's to busy for my taste.
You could always score the game in Statcrew and make the xml files to upload to Pointstreak. Plus, I told the Pointstreak guys before that Statcrew does generate xml live game files and they could use if they wanted to setup their interface with it.
But Pointstreak is very cheap and that is the #1 reason for the League. Just my two cents.
