Before anyone starts ripping these rankings I want to point out ... Massey himself says that they are not trustworthy "until after each team has played at least 2-3 games".
In general I actually like his system, and once there is enough data it takes a fair look at the teams based on stats (rather than emotion). I know the results aren't perfect, but it is a neat way to analyze the teams. (I am an Engineer, can ya tell?)

I hadn't seen the Bradley-Terry one before. Thanks for posting it. It looks to be pretty simple compared to the Massey Ratings.
It appears that it just uses the record of each team as the primary order, and then uses the record of the opponents as a tiebreaker from there.
(West Texas is #1 because they are the only 2-0 team, Omaha is #2 because they are the only 1-0 team that beat another team that actually has a Win, etc....)

As the season progresses the rankings turn out quite well actually. I had thought I had seen the last of these Bradley-Terry rankings since the site that did them previously (a poster known by Champions of Steel) had quit a couple of years ago. I found this site through one of my alerts and it's nice to see these back. I don't know if it's the same guy or someone new. You will see teams with better records fall in the rankings if their wins were against weak teams (after about 4 games are played it starts to take shape), so it's not based on record first. There's a page on his site that goes into detail how they're ordered.

Ever since I first saw the Massey rankings I have been thinking about developing my own version of it... but I haven't taken the time. Maybe I will see what I can come up with this season... since I am a Math/Software geek anyway.

I tried to develop my own rankings this off-season. It was a miserable failure since I couldn't get the formula to work. I was trying to do my own Bradley-Terry and it didn't come out well at all. I'd love to get the Bradley-Terry formula that works in case this guy quits again.
