With the AIFA West becoming it's own league, the negotiations for the AIFA (Eastern Conference) to merge with the SIFL look strong. Lets see if Mink can increase the average life expectancy of Western Conference teams past 1 year of play now.

The American Indoor Football Association West Signs Three Year Deal on the AMGTV Television Network
(Palm Harbor, FL) The American Indoor Football Association West has reached an agreement to have their exciting, fast – paced style of indoor football aired on the AMGTV Television Network beginning with the 2011 season and continuing through the completion of the 2013 season.
League Owner Michael Mink has made a big commitment to its divisional teams and its owners in the quest of promoting the AIFA West and its communities that it serves. Mink feels that this association with AMGTV can enhance those desires and can lead to further growth within the league.
The AIFA will commence their fifth season of football action. The league was founded in 2006 by Michael Mink and John Morris. The Western Division of the AIFA is now its own league in 2011 with Mink being the Owner of the AIFA West.
The AIFA West currently has teams in California, Washington, Nevada, Arizona and finalizing a team in Oregon. There is also a strong possibility of further expansion in New Mexico, Utah, California and other regions across the United States.
The AIFA West is developing a new website that will feature continued up to date information with all AMGTV scheduled games and broadcasting stations to optimize fan viewing. The Web site address is www.aifawest.com and will be active in the following weeks. “We might not be the biggest league out there but we are going to promote our game of football like no other.” said Mink. “I have a responsibility to the fans and the media to make sure all awareness of the league, teams, and players is available to increase their knowledge of the AIFA West.”
The AMGTV Television Network is carried in over seventy-five percent (75%) of the country. AMGTV with affiliations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Detroit, Phoenix, Seattle, Miami, Cleveland, Orlando and Pittsburgh; that are in the Top 25 markets in the country.
AMGTV already boasts affiliates in almost every AIFA market. Affiliate Relations Representative Sam Jordan feels that the network should be able to secure the remaining few markets before the start of the 2011 season, which begins in March 2011.
The network is also working on securing a major sponsor for the telecasts that will air on Thursday evenings during the season. The AIFA has also secured time for a thirty minute weekly show on the network titled, “This Week in the AIFA” and will be seen one half hour prior to the start of each week’s broadcast. In addition, the network will allow the affiliates to also rebroadcast the show at other times during the broadcast week.
