Hi guys, my name is Matt SantaMaria, and it's been about a year and a half since I called/watched my first indoor football game and I'm officially hooked!
I'm a 21 yearold from right here in Omaha, finishing up my college and getting a great headstart on my broadcasting career. I am the voice of the Omaha Beef and am beyond excited about the prospects of this new league!
I ran my own blog regarding the Beef for a while during last offseason, but tailed off as the season began and time became at an absolute premium, but I hope to get it going again with everything going on within the organization and with the league itself.
Most of all, though, I'm just excited about the changes and the opportunity to discuss them with everyone around here! Looking forward to a great offseason and a better 2009 campaign!
Matt

Welcome aboard Matt.
When I first found out you were 21 I couldn't believe it, because your voice sounds much older (in a good way). Great job on the broadcasts.

Yes, he did a great job on that, and every other, game.
I was going to buy the end of Sioux Falls winning streak on B2, but it wasn't available as a game to buy. Of all the games, you'd think that be a popular one to sell. Perhaps I should ask Dakota Crow if he can get a copy.

Thanks so much for the kind words guys, there are so many great broadcasters in this league that it's just nice to have this opportunity at all. Like I said earliar, I had never watched an indoor football game until I got my chance on the radio in Billings in '07, so I'm learning on the fly.
Hopefully the new league opens some more eyes to the talent and indoor game itself. If they do things the right way, and it seems as they are, I think they are going to be successful.
