Hello Indoor Football Boarders! I am writing this for one reason, and that reason may called "Future" on this way, I say to you my perspective about my future, as it can pass yours. The theme of this proposal is on the American Football, which managed to make my decisions, goals and objectives are defined. Given that I present myself: I am Diogo Kosiski Neves de Almeida, better known as Kosiski in the world of American football, I play this sport since the beginning of 2007 as CornerBack, in an amateur team named Sao Paulo Storm, and could develop several skills on this period, always targeting my evolution in this sport. I am Brazilian, born in the city of Sao Paulo, where I live today, I am 18 years old and finished high school at the end of last year (2007). Therefore, I would like to know what is the level of interest of IFL's championship about foreign athletes. Every information are welcome, i'm here to discuss anything and to be a Football Player! ;D. Sincerely, Diogo Kosiski

Welcome to the board Kosiski!
As far as your question, any team in any league has interest in any player that can help them make their team better. You will need video of yourself in order to catch their eye, and even that might not be enough depending on the level of competition you played against, it all depends. The best thing I can suggest is that if you are in the area of one the league's teams, you could attend one of their open tryouts and show them your abilities. Most times you have to pay for the tryout though, so I would only do this if you're serious. Are you coming to the U.S. from Brazil? At 18 you're at the perfect age to get more experience, especially if you are going to be coming to the U.S. for college...you could try to walk on to the football team or something. The biggest thing is desire and drive to do what you want, and ability doesn't hurt either. Just be aware you may have a high mountain to climb to get to where you want if you're serious about it. Good luck, and once again, welcome.

Wow Cat. I'm really serious! But for sure, as you can see, i'm developing my english yet, and i do not have $$ necessary to travel to U.S.A. That's a real dream that i want to challange, but for now. I can just do some videos and take some photos! But i'm always targeting to be better than i was yesterday(I hope this the best idea), and i'm enjoying the Brazil's Football Movement. I do some voluntary jobs for the childreen who live near my district, BELIEVE, FOOTBALL IS GETTING MANY FANS IN BRAZIL! Well, no worries. I will do what i need for now. I hope i can be part of this forum, and nice to meet you cat! ;D

You are a part of this forum, once you joined you became a part of the forum. I always enjoy talking with other football fans around the world as well, so you're a very welcome addition.
I've been all over the world, but I've never made it to Brazil, or South America, yet...unfortunately.
I'm happy to hear that there's an American Football movement in Brazil, I wasn't aware of that.
By the way, your English is very good. If I tried to write in Portuguese you probably couldn't understand me.

Hey, dudes. I'm watching af2 right now(do not kill me, i'm indoor fan too LOL). And then i heard the "reporter(as madden lol)" talking about the players that are playing today, then he said:
"Reporter: Takeshi Miyake is a WR/DB and... WOW... he is japanese... and now he is playing for Stockton Lightining, we have a international player right here."
Wow!! this kind of comments make me crazy! in the cool side! I'm happy for him, happy for the japenese, he traveled the entire world to be play FOOTBALL!
I'm like excited... and that make me really happy.
So, that's the point. I'm always thinking "how to play FOOTBALL where the FOOTBALL HAPPEN". And then, i'm thinking to graduate(finish) my studies here in Brazil, and then travel to U.S.A to do post graduation.
But, in your opinion(all of you are welcome to answer): Is it cool to study post graduation there, and try a job in a indoor/arena league? Maybe i can work there as a normal employee and study in the same time, and when possible, turn in a professional league. But... is that "easy" to do that at the same time? Does the law permit that?
I'm a freshman here in Brazil, i will finish the graduation in 2012. I have time to decide and do plans... but. What can you say to me?
In the beggining of the year i tried to be a Six Flags Employee, and i was 100% comfirmed to be there, but my father did'nt let me because of the money! I just thought to be an Au Pair too... <-- easy for me. ^^Well!! Sorry for the BIG TEXT... but i'm like... idk... nervous about my passion about football! haha Tell me what you want to say... and sorry if that's the wrong topic to do this!
