Offensive Player of the Week: Joe McClain, QB, Wyoming Cavalry
Joe McClain brings the type of quick agility and accuracy needed at the QB position in the indoor game. With his nimble movement McClain has recorded outstanding numbers in his performances this year, including this past weekend where he placed himself at the top of the list for Player of the Week. In McClain’s performance this weekend he tallied 9 touchdowns, going 13-18 for 149 yards and 3 rushes for 11 yards.
Defensive Player of the Week: Tyrone King, DB, Colorado Ice
As the Colorado ICE push forward towards an undefeated season the help of the defense is a defining factor. For the second week a member of the Colorado ICE has placed their name a top the list. Tyrone King is named defensive player of the week for week six with his stellar performance against the Bricktown Brawlers. King registered 7 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and 2 INT’s one of which was returned for 19 yards and a touchdown.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Elliot White, RB, Reading Express
Elliot White found himself on all sides of the ball in their weekend rivalry game against the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. White showed off his return game averaging 20 yards a return with, 212 yards on 10 returns, and a 54 yard return for a touchdown. Not only was his return game above the rest, but White would also rush 7 times for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns as well as a 10 yard catch for a touchdown, giving him a total of 4 touchdowns for the night.
