This is SF's 7th championship game appearance in 8 years(*). The 6 previous games were all close, exciting games, right down to the finish. I have a feeling this game will break with that tradition and be decided mid-way through the 3rd quarter.
This year's championship was won 2 weeks ago against Omaha.

Unless the Fever can bring in a bit of the second half reffing from the Blizzard game. I know it did not matter because the game was in hand, but wow. I hope we get a good crew and a good clean injury free game.

This year's championship was won 2 weeks ago against Omaha. I agree. I would like to see the Fever keep it within the 13 points of the Beef game, but I suspect the final margin will be at least over 20 points. I think the Fever can stay with them for three quarters (I hope), but by the fourth they'll be out of gas. It could also end up another blow out, but I hope not.

. I think the Fever can stay with them for three quarters (I hope), but by the fourth they'll be out of gas. It could also end up another blow out, but I hope not. Yeah, you have it backwards here. I'm not sure the Fever will be able to hang with them for 3 qts, but if they can, they have a great chance, as they are a GREAT 4th QT team. They LIVED off of 4th QT comebacks. Have you forgotten the first 2 weeks of the playoffs? They don't run out of gas, they are WAY better in the 4th then the 1st-3rd. The trick will be not falling behind early like they OFTEN do, because SF is a team they will NOT be able to catch up with if they do... If they get off to their normal slow start, the game will be over at half time. If they get off to a good start, and keep it close until the 4th, I REALLY like their chances. Sadly, I feel the first option is most likely.

$1 says this will be the least commented Championship game thread in the history of indoor football forums...
Where have all the cowboys gone.

They left when the UIF refused to have an NIFL-style message board.
As for the game, the Fever traditionally have been exceptional in road playoff games they have no right winning (see: 2005 season with two wins over 14-0 teams). They're going to make this very uncomfortable for the Storm.

Yeah, but no one remains from that 05 team. This team strugled on the road all last year, and early on this season, but have been on fire for the playoffs. I still say it depends on how well the Fever START. They are nick named the Comeback Fever. If they fall behind early like they do A LOT, they WON'T be able to come back against this team. If they are able to come out fast like they did against Allen, and hang tight until the 4th, then they have a SHOT. Not saying that means they will win, but it will give them a chance, because again, they are a great 4th qt team. We'll see. If I was forced to bet money, I would have to bet on the Storm, but would love to see an upset.

Tri-Cities has a good team, obviously, but there's no way they win this. If it's not at least a three td margin victory for the Storm then I'll be surprised. Should be a high scoring game as well. Yellowstone's great at setting pointspreads (was great in predicting tiebreaker points in pickem this year), but I'll try my best and say the over/under will be 96.

Dixon will be very motivated to not only win this game, but show off and blow the Fever out. If you read his facebook page, he's miffed at comments Teri Carr made about him before the season (not bad comments, just that he would only be paid what everyone else is being paid if he went to Tri-Cities). I highly doubt that Tri-Cities is paying everyone what they're supposed to be paid either...just that Dixon was too pricey for them.www.keloland.com/Sports/NewsDetail7986.cfm?Id=117956

I'll leave you guys alone, except to say I hope the strom lose on a HORRRRRRIBLY bad call by the officials with picture evidence. We got a little karma going our way with our title, so maybe maybe maybe...
