The Sioux Falls Storm of the Indoor Football League have re-signed starting quarterback Terrance Bryant for the 2009 season.
Bryant will be entering his fifth season with the Storm and has led the team to the UIF Championship in each of the previous four seasons. Advertisement
The former league MVP is the team’s all-time leader in completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. Bryant has been the starting quarterback in each of the Storm’s record 32 consecutive wins at home.
In 2008, Bryant finished the UIF season with 2,037 yards passing and 33 touchdown passes.

With Bryant still there they have to be a favorite again, no matter who they lost.

Don't think so on that, many more teams, more options and i still say billings is gonna give um a hell of a run for their money, omaha as well.
btw, do you know if Cavender is back as well possibly as a WR, i know he is a dynamic player when he gets his chance on the field

Sioux Falls is the favorite until proven otherwise. There's no other way when you are a four-time defending champion in the UIF.
That said, with the UIF adding so many teams, it will make things a bit more fun, but I don't see anyone they added challenging the Storm right this minute.

I put a favorite, not the favorite. I'll make my pre-season pick about a week before the season starts after I see who signed who.

To me, they're still THE favorite. Period. Beat them in a game when it counts, and we'll be proven otherwise. But the Storm are THE favorite in the UIF.

I believe to do that, you are going to have to get them on the road, to beat them in the playoffs, bloomington had it's chance last season and should have won that game, if it had been in bloomington i believe it would have happened, but it didnt, same with billings, we shall see as the season approaches,

That's good. I'm glad he's back there, but I would've preferred Omaha of course.

well that's fun, honestly i believe that will be just as big as terry returning, over/under 20 sacks, 6 blocked kicks.
