Hi guys. My name is Heather (otherwise known as "That Football Chick") lol. I am a lifelong college football fan who has recently developed a UIFL passion. Until now, my world has been all SEC all the time.
I am a University of Kentucky fan, and now a Kentucky Monsters fan as well. I am also a big minor league baseball fan, but that is only a secondary love.

Welcome to the board Heather!
SEC is definitely the best college conference to be a fan of nowadays (I'm a PAC-12 homer).
Good luck to your Kentucky Monsters this upcoming season. It looks like they'll have a good showing of last season's River Monsters on the roster.

We do seem like we will have a pretty strong roster. I was just checking out some of the players I know we have signed.... Marcus Lancaster, Kyle James Tyler Owens Dustin Zink Luke Scarborough Maurice Douse that's for starters.. And ps... I can respect the Pac 12, I could even respect a Wacky 10 lol... just don't be an ACC fan and we will be great friends

LOL. The only teams that impress me out of the ACC are Miami and Florida State and they've hit very hard times lately. The Big East...it needs to go already.
I know you like KU. I don't really follow college that closely, but since I'm from Oregon I like the Ducks and Beavers.
I can't wait until they get rid of the BCS and go to a playoff format...I'd start watching again.

In my opinion lol, KU is not a real team at all..they even choke in bball almost every year in the elite 8, but Kentucky..well..... UK has no real football hope but lots of love and and a bball team that rocks the nation lol. Ive always been a UK fan, cno matter how poorly we've played. We always seem to have a bright moment that fades way too dang quickly

At least they've won some college bktball titles and are always a threat to do it again. It's tough to build a football power there. Perhaps the next time a Dad like Cecil Newton is shopping his QB kid around he might consider Kentucky? A lot of rulebreaking goes on in college football unfortunately and if you look at all the powers they've all done it.
