I'm glad you're getting so into MMA, BC! It'll be nice talking to you about it. I was avoiding it for so long because I knew I'd get addicted. Seeing a lot of the Muay Thai in Thailand was very nice and they also have many unsanctioned MMA fights where fighters fight to gain experience on their way up. Eventually it caught up to me and I couldn't avoid it. I used to be heavy into watching boxing in the 80's and 90's, but it just got too ridiculous. I can see corruption hitting MMA as well, but so far it hasn't reached boxing levels and the fights are the realistic you'll ever get. I could never get into the wrestling leagues because they were all scripted, MMA is showcasing wrestling at it's finest...love it. You need to be an all around fighter to be consistently successful in MMA. I actually root more for the wrestling guys, just love to see the power being displayed (looks like not much is going on, but that's a lot of power being displayed to hold off someone or to try to submit someone). There was this polish guy in the Bellator event that would just leap at his opponent or do a side roll and take him down, amazing stuff. He won on decision, which was nice to see, because the announcer was pro-boxing style and thought since the other guy got more hits in he should win, but the polish guy totally dominated the fight even though he didn't get the submission. Yep, definitely hooked now...unfortunately...lol.

haha, I'm slightly biased since 1- Lesnar is a NCAA champion wrestler 2- he's top 3 favorite fighter of mine.

I see. It should definitely be a good fight. I expect it to get to the ground, so we'll definitely see which one can use wrestling to their advantage.

There was this polish guy in the Bellator event that would just leap at his opponent or do a side roll and take him down Marcin Held is the Polish fighter's name. He's only 19, turned pro at 16. If he stays injury free, he'll be known around the world soon.

I saw the promo special, which was basically hype and background of the fighters, but not the weight in. Lesnar is pretty up there though I bet.

Just saw Lesnar/Overeem. Overeem's powerful striking came through again. It's funny, whenever I watch leg kicks they don't look that bad, but having felt some I know looks can be deceiving. That knee to Lesnar's body and the kick to the liver did him in quick.
I know it's early, but I'll probably take Overeem in the title shot against Junior Dos Santos.
I'll watch the other fights from UFC 141 tomorrow, it's getting late here.
