This move is a stroke of genius. Bringing in Reed has totally changed my perception of the league. The AIF is totally the cream of the crop of indoor leagues now. Only the NFL is the better league (but not for long). The future is so bright, they should be wearing shades...or at least tinted helmet visors.

NFL Future Hall Of Famer Joins AIF Board
February 2, 2012
HARRISBURG, PA (February 2, 2012) - The announcement of Andre Reed becoming a member of the AIF Advisory Board is great news for the AIF, it's teams and fans. However, for the Stampede there is more of a personal connection.
You see the Stampede Owner, Justin Coble is a life-long Buffalo Bill's fan and Head Coach Bernie Nowotarski, happens to be a close friend and former teammate of Andre from their playing days at Kutztown University.
So, owner and coach wanted to have Andre involved with the team somehow but were not sure in what way or how. While in a conversation with League Director Jack Bowman, he proposed the idea that perhaps Andre would consider being a member of the AIF Board. The opportunity presented itself that weekend as Coach Nowotarski and Reed were both attending and meeting each other at KU's Homecoming game. The idea was discussed with Andre and after exchanging some informational details through e-mail and phone calls, Andre's becoming part of the AIF Board was put into motion.
It is my hope, that we can get Andre to a Stampede game this season. It's tough to nail down a guy who is about to enter into an area that all of us young kids playing football only dream about and that of course is the NFL Hall Of Fame. We will work hard on trying to make that happen, and we will certainly make a public announcement if that can take place. We know that that our owner sure would like to see one of the guys that he followed so closely as a Loyal Bill's Fan. We encourage you all to go onto Andre's web site and help with the sales of his specialty sauces and the good that comes from helping the children that his charity reaches out to.
I am very proud to have Andre as a friend and former Team mate, but I am truly excited that Andre is going to be on the AIF Advisory Board and help take the AIF to the next level of just not being an Indoor Football League, but a League that cares for its Cities and the People in them.
