The arenafootball2 league (af2) announced today that WR/KR KEVIN PRENTISS has been named the league’s top kick returner of all-time, as selected by a group of af2 head coaches past and present, members of the media and fans throughout the country. The diminutive Prentiss (5-8, 155 pounds), arguably the most feared kick returner in the league for four seasons (2003-06), finished his af2 career as the league’s all-time leader in kick return touchdowns with 14. His explosive playmaking skills also helped key Memphis to three playoff appearances and one ArenaCup Championship in 2005. “Kevin had an amazing run in our league,” said af2 President Jerry Kurz. “He may have been small in stature, but his explosiveness and skill were a big reason behind Memphis’ success. He was a true game changer that excited fans every time he stepped on the field.”
