IFL Rankings for Week 3
In the Top 10 Poll Sioux Falls debuts where they left off last year, in first place. They also received their customary max 150pts. Tri-Cities and Allen tied for second place thanks to an even split from all the voters flip flopping them between 2nd and 3rd, New Mexico took fourth place, and Colorado rounded out the top five in fifth place.
In the Overall Rankings, Tri Cities managed to tie Sioux Falls for the overall #1 (thanks to Sioux Falls being rated fourth in the Bradley-Terry ratings). The Bradley-Terry ratings take awhile before they take shape just because they are based solely on a formula on who you beat and lose to (with so few games played there aren't many comparisons). Allen debuts in #3, New Mexico in the #4 spot, and Cedar Rapids in the #5 spot (thanks to their number one rating in the Bradley-Terry ratings). Rounding out the top ten are Omaha and Colorado tied for #6, Green Bay in #8, and Bloomington and Lehigh Valley tied for #9. Reading brings up the bottom in the #16 spot.
Thanks to all who voted in the Top 10 Poll. Keep the votes coming each and every week and anyone else that would like to chime in is welcome to do so as well.
