True... neutral sites have not done very well in the past, and I would think it will be a tough sell this time around. BUT I do think having it in San Angelo will benefit both teams if the host team pays for travel or gives a cut of the gate. Plus it gives the host city all season to promote this one game not one week the traditional way. Some teams have a hard time packing them in when they had weeks to get the word out. Sure the higher seeded team fans miss a great opportunity to see there team play at home but the ownership stands a better chance of losing money than making money. Unless you have a great sales team that can get the sponsors and the fans to throw money their way. It should help the expansion team with marketing for next year so that has to be a plus for a new franchise.
