Hey all! My name is Vic. I'm from San Diego now living in Minnesota. I've been following indoor football for 20 years now. I was a backup QB for a short time with the Tri-City Diesel in the old NIFL and I attended camp with the Duluth Superior Lumberjacks in the first IFL & tried out for the Minnesota Monsters of the PIFL. I now run a small semi-pro league in the Twin Cities.

Welcome to the board Vic. It sounds like you probably have some great stories about indoor football when it first began.

No just the smaller indoor leagues. I have small hands, and have trouble gripping the AFL size balls on quick throws.

You mean the arenaball is bigger than indoor ball? What about the NFL and Ncaa size of ball?

Oh ya, the AFL ball is the same size as the NFL's. The first IFL that was owned by Terry Eklund (I hope that's spelled right) had a thinner ball for a pass heavy league. the NIFL balls were jr. Size I still have a few. I have never seen an APFL ball, in pics it looks bigger than an IFL ball

Yes sir. Most of them are Baden FC 500s whatever that means lol. I miss the NIFL though, the teams just kept folding one by one. The First IFL was fun, GREAT logos. I didn't like the fact that everyone's home jerseys had a giant logo on the front (hockey style). And then on both shoulders, so you had the same logo five times on your unis. On each side of the helmet and three time on the jerseys.
