This is a bigger game than most would've probably though just a few short weeks ago. Now however it's one of the biggest games of the week thanks to both teams fighting for the playoffs and positioning.
Bloomington (8-3) comes into the game off a win over Cedar Rapids last week. They are currently tied with Green Bay for the second spot in the United Conference, but lose out on tiebreakers to Green Bay since they lost both games to them. They need a win here and in their next two games and also hope Green Bay stumbles in their last three games in order to pass them in the standings and get the much coveted home playoff game which will likely match them up with Green Bay once again. Bloomington dropped a game to Chicago during the season's kickoff classic many months ago, but has since beaten Chicago twice in two close games.
Chicago (5-6) comes into the game on a tear the last month and has moved into prime position to capture the fourth and last United Conference playoff spot. They are currently tied with Omaha for it, but some reports have said they would slide in if both remain tied, how true that is I have no idea. QB Perry Patterson won IFL Fantasy Player of the Week last week and he'll need another great performance if Chicago expects to walk out of Bloomington with a win.
Who will get the W this week, Chicago or Bloomington?

Chicago is hot right now & have gotten great QB play. Bloomington has struggled with dropping 2 to GB. Sure they beat Cedar Rapids but that doesnt say much. I think this will be a great game.

Well BC looks like Omaha controls their own destiny now with Chicago losing to Bloomington last night. If they win out they make the playoffs if i'm not mistaken. That may be tough with a pending game with the Storm in SF not too far off.

Yes. I would like to know the tiebreakers if Omaha and Chicago tie. I E-mailed the league for the 2012 tiebreakers, so I hope to hear back soon. Unfortunate that two teams so close (Omaha & Chicago) didn't play each other this year.
