Omaha is 6-6 coming into this game and fighting with Chicago for the last playoff spot in the United Conference. The team is playing a lot better since letting Coach Cowdrey go and have installed their old offense back in.
Nebraska is 4-8 and eliminated from playoff contention. These teams have split their two previous games this season, with both winning at home.
Who gets the win here?

HUGE game tonight for Omaha! With Chicago losing last night to Lehigh, If Omaha wins they have punched their ticket to the playoffs...in SF. Not what I wanted to see as a Storm fan, Omaha always scares me, but bring em on 2 weeks in a row.

So if Omaha gets the win tonight, neither team next week (Omaha & SF) will really have anything to play for. Of course if the Storm beat Colorado this evening they would have the possibility of another undefeated season & maybe a little redemption from last year. But how hard do you think those teams will play each other next week considering the fact that they will be playing again in a much more meaningful game? Do you play full strength as if it does matter? Or do you get your starters some rest and not give away all you secrets, especially since the 2 teams know each other so well?

I'm sure both teams would try out some new stuff, but play it close to the vest as far as what they'll do in the playoff game. If the Storm beat Colorado, you can bet Riggs would go all out for the win and the Beef would probably do the same to stop them though.

Final: Nebraska 50 - Omaha 34
The very good Danger showed up in the first half, taking a 31-17 lead to the locker room. The bad Danger came out in the second half and the game was tied in two and a half minutes. Fortunately, the Danger tightened up a bit and stayed in the game. Even more fortunate... the very very bad Beef came out in the 4th quarter. One play included a Beef illegal defense, plus not one, but two Beef personal fouls, a Beef player ejected and oh yeah, a Danger touchdown.

AGGGHHH, the horror, the horror. The Beef played worse than that team from long ago in Lincoln (and that's saying something), wtf???
Beef will just shock the league again by beating Sioux Falls next week, and again the following week.
BEEF RULES! Everyone else drools!
