If you remember when Tim Marcum was suspended in Tampa he would watch the games and just call in the plays. He EVENTUALLY got caught but after a while.
At this juncture in the season how important is it really that Riggs is on the sideline calling the game? The game plan is already set and the Storm coordinators are more than able to follow the game plan.
But yes is lame but then I'm in a more lame of a league right now.

So, who calls the plays for SF tomorrow? Keizer? Ashley? we could let Lehigh's coaches call our plays and it still wont matter. I have to admit, I got a laugh out of that (because it's true). Sorry any Steelhawks fans who read this, I'm really not trying to disrespect your team, but the Storm really are on another level on the field.

Who wants to bet the other sho we will drop the week of the 4th of July and they'll find a way to keep him out of a championship. AND take the game to Wichita, Allen, or Kenniwick (Hopefully Wichita, for me) for something equally as petty? It's not beyond this league to punish the fans and the coach for something we had no part in. I hadn't thought of that until you mentioned it, but I have to agree that it could be a possibility the way things have been happening lately.

If you remember when Tim Marcum was suspended in Tampa he would watch the games and just call in the plays. He EVENTUALLY got caught but after a while. Funny how both teams are named Storm. At this juncture in the season how important is it really that Riggs is on the sideline calling the game? The game plan is already set and the Storm coordinators are more than able to follow the game plan. I agree that the players and remaining coaches know what's going on and are as near well-oiled as you can be, but Riggs is still a good coach and in a tight game has the knowledge of what works more than most. But yes is lame but then I'm in a more lame of a league right now. Definitely agree. I hope for your sake your league gets better next year, but I'm a doubter.

I think everyone agrees that the Storm will be just fine. I have been saying for many years that it is possible that Riggs is a little overated. I said the same thing about Heron O'Neal. After one year with the Ice I think we can say that O'Neal may have been a little overated. The Ice were above agerage, but still 4th in the division. Rumors fly about both Billings and SF overpaying players. Without that extra money Riggs and O'Neal may just be average coaches. Everyone knows Chris Dixon is not playing for $200 per week. But this league condoned overpayment with TO so I don't blame SF for paying their players.

The time you miss Rggs is when you need to make a big decision on 4th down. However that only matters in a close game.

Riggs has won championships with local talent, and national talent for a decade now. I think calling him average is a bit of a low blow.

I would imagine there is probably going to be at least one IFL official there tomorrow night. I think we need some good chants. Maybe a "wheres the beef?" since thats who we should be playing and a "We want riggs" or something chant and keep it going all game I think a simple "This League Sucks" chant would be sufficient.

They should skip player intros today, pile everyone into the van, drive it out to mid-field and have all the players jump out "clown-car" style.

Now this is funny. BNDC I have no problem laughing at these cheaters. LOL I love the clarification by the league, kinda blows all sorts of holes in the outrage of this thread.
