I just noticed this. This season, there are 0 Intense Football League teams left in the IFL. The last remaining teams all joined the LSFL.
This league is a merger of The united league and the intense league. But only United teams, and teams joining from the outside remain. If anything, an argument could be made the the Intense league broke free of the IFL and because it's own league again.

Yes, the former Intense teams are now in the LSFL and PIFL (Louisiana: they never officially joined IFL, but did initially verbally commit before forming SIFL instead).

There was some animosity that developed between them and the original UIF owners according to some. Supposedly they felt they were being looked down upon by the UIF owners. That and they wanted to go to a cheaper-ran league.
