I doubt they leave as well. They reported they sold out, but there were a ton of empty seats at the end of the season and I HIGHLY doubt they were all no-shows. For the Allen game, yeah... there were a ton of no shows. Single game tickets reportedly sold fast at the beginning of the season with the assumption that ol' what's his name would play. The combination of him NOT playing, the team being out of contention and having gone the whole month of May without a home game made it a non event. The final game of the season was no sell out. Again, too late into the summer I'm afraid people just kind of lost interest with the hellacious long road trip. All things considered, not a bad crowd compared to most other teams, but I'd be surprised if it was much over 3,000 or so.

I see the IFL falling to one conference for next season. I see no IFL the season after. Most of the teams will fold. Others will join the CIFL or the APFL.

Updated the status of the first post with the standard format I've been using lately and also moved New Mexico to FOLDED status (reports I'm hearing is that they're done).

Updated the status of the first post in the rumor area of Lehigh Valley and Charlotte potentially moving to other leagues due to being geographically so far away from the rest of the league teams.

I said it on the APFL status thread too but a guys who seemed to know what he was talking about pretty much said Wichita is going to the Bob Scott APFL and that Nebraska and Cedar Rapids will stay in the IFL. Not sure who the guy is but again he sounded convincing...

The Wild are NOT going to the APFL. Hallelujah!! The APFL is a poor history and is run with questionable integrity issues.

I talked to someone very close to the team last night and without any hesitation he said the Storm will be back for 2013. He also made some other comments in regards to the roster but I will wait to expand on that.

The things I have heard parallel that rock, as well as perhaps a institutional mandate of obtaining full time employment and no team provided housing...but some of that may have been speculation

IFL has moved back the date for teams to commit to the league from July 31 to August 15. Could provide enough time to resolve issues. - Matt Zimmer tweet (Argus Leader beat writer)
