Hmmm.... Well Erie and Charlotte definately should follow suit. Will the league add any more weeks to the season or will it remain a 12 game schedule?

Will the league add any more weeks to the season or will it remain a 12 game schedule? I have no idea, but would guess they'd keep it at 12.

I thought they would, but everyone I know is saying they'll stay so unless something changes they won't be going to the PIFL.

I agree. Really sucks too, but they already have a commitment and I can respect that.

With regard to PIFL expansion, I can tell you that the league does not want to end up with an odd number of teams, bad for scheduling purposes. Beyond that I can only guess at potential cities: Harrisburg, PA, Reading, PA, Norfolk, VA, Charlotte, NC, Chattanooga, TN, Nashville, TN, Pensacola, FL, and Shreveport, LA.
Lakeland, FL is too far outside the footprint of the PIFL and I expect Erie to end up in the CIFL before all is said and done.

And the Charlotte Speed and PIFL have both officially confirmed that the team will be playing in the PIFL instead of the IFL for 2013.
Press release coming after the Democratic National Convention ends.
