One thing I would love to see in a new league is wider field goal post. I never understood why they had to be so small.
What other rules would people like to see, or not see?

I don't like the ball being placed on the 25 yard line after kicks. For missed field goals out the back of the end zone I like placement at the 5 yard line. For kickoffs out the back of the end zone I like placement at the 20 yard line. The field is short enough already, we don't need to make it shorter.

I don't really care what is used for rules, I just want the **** Refs to know them so we don't have an hr worth of meetings between refs like we did in our championship game.

I think they should get rid of ref's and go by an honor system, that should work out just fine.

Besides Wichita and Sioux City, who else are gonna be real contenders?

why are the field goal posts so small? 10 feet? That is 8 feet smaller then the NFL and College. It almost takes out the whole dimension of the kicking game

I would guess that was done because a team is almost always in field goal range. They don't want to make it too easy to score every set of downs. IMHO

I also thought about PATs being too easy.

Well according to the refs in the championship game, the ball only has to hit the post. Doesn't matter that the ball bounced back on to the field and didn't even come close to going anywhere near in between the posts. It was still "good".

I've seen in the NFL where it went threw the posts and bounced back off a piece of the support and it was called good, but the indoor leagues hang their posts, so any kick that bounces back should be no good.

Byte, it really depends on how the league is set up. Yes, if the Wild keep their roster from last year, I would say they would be the front runner. However, this league's rules as far as housing, pay structure and how far a player can be from (radius rule) have yet to be determined. So until the structure of the league is shown, I'd hold off on the ring ceremony.

Championship game it hit the outside of the post and was totally a miss but they called it good, kinda like how sf won in 05.

What about men in motion? How would that affect the game if no receivers were in motion?
How about a mandatory hot cheerleaders in bikinis?
