"The APFL will soon merge with multiple other indoor leagues to recreate the Indoor Professional Football League (IPFL) with Adams and the other league owners as the board for the IPFL." " Keaton , Being Adams grandson you have incite we don't ! "The net is vast and infinite"(props to anyone who gets the refrance.) and it only takes a few key strokes to find out who some one is but the haters are going to hate, so you can expect them to take that information with a grain of salt and just see you as sticking up for your grandpaw (what kid wouldn't?) they see the APFL as a ghost, a shell of its self (hint hint..lol sory i had to ) as with all things..time will tell

The APFL will soon merge with multiple other indoor leagues to recreate the Indoor Professional Football League (IPFL) with Adams and the other league owners as the board for the IPFL. Although I have my doubts about this, it got me thinking about what leagues could possibly be involved. IFL: Nope. A league that touts itself as the "premier indoor league" isn't desperate enough to merge with lower leagues. They're looking to add AFL teams, not APFL teams. PIFL: Just as likely as the IFL. They are being very careful with their expansion, and I think they see themselves as the IFL of the east coast. CPIFL: This one should be pretty obvious. LSFL: Not very likely. They have a good thing going with their Texas-based league. Some of these teams have done the merger thing before, and it didn't work with the NIFL or the IFL. CIFL: Not very likely. The league was just acquired by the Saginaw Sting/Indoor Football Inc. and they've built into a nice regional league with slightly higher standards than the years before (although a few teams are suspect). This leaves the AIF and UIFL, and with those two leagues it actually makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if all three of these leagues were having trouble bringing in expansion teams for a few reasons. New teams aren't popping up as often as they used to, and the credible teams all have better options in their regions. I could see these leagues looking to pool their teams together into a "national" league of about a dozen teams.

If anything, he's referring to semi-pro leagues. The APFL has a history of picking up semi-pro outdoor teams and transitioning them into pro indoor teams (pro is debatable in many cases though).
I believe Adams bought the IPFL name 5 years ago or so as well, but has never done anything with it.

I thought it was odd that the "team" listings on the APFL site have a slot for "League Affiliation" my reaction was.. no-du but it may be the templet is being set up for somthing elce..
the concept could work.. keep the "season" local and travle costs down.. then after each leage has there play offs the winers play each outher
