Yeah, the stands were very vacant, worse than the 600 in Sacramento the other week. Unless someone steps in to save it, the UFL will be dead soon.

With the league owing players, coaches, others, and empty stands (when I say empty I mean really empty), it's hard to see the league finishing the season. Where's the revenue coming from? They are paying to air their games and they sure aren't making money from people to see the games, so did they get some great sponsors or investors? It sure looks like they're running on fumes.

There were Beef fans there on Wed, Storm photog was taking pics and said he heard a lets go beef chant. Too bad every team in the IFL last season outdrew the UFL this year

I wondered if they would have outdrawn the Danger this year. For the last game against Virginia the Nighthawks said on their Facebook page that there were 3000. In a 25,000 seat stadium 3000 looks like 30.

3,000??? I watched the game and every shot of the stands showed they were empty. I'd like to know where those 3k were sitting, lol.

the UFL (or any outdoor minor league) desperately needs the backing of the NFL. That is their only hope.

I wouldn't say that. They just need to be managed better, have money behind them, keep salaries lower, and play in the spring.
