Relocation = start up.. spin however you want. Omaha team would be considered a start up because it wont be the Beef. Ah, I had heard the new owners had bought the Beef, but evidently the haven't? So this will be a new Omaha team if they can't get the rights to the name and all the equipment from the Sprowls.

Um storm 2010, ANY team that cheats could probably come and lay 100 on us. That is not an accomplishment.

Hahaha! We took players that you guys cut and we didn't overpay them. So yes, it's legit. I never said we could beat Sioux Falls. And maybe the CPIFL won't be all roses, but I'll sure as hell take it over the IFL. Congrats on putting up 100 on us in your imaginary land of football too. Flex that muscle! That's like saying a weightlifter on steroids can outlift somebody who doesn't. No great accomplishment if it would happen. Relocation = start up.. spin however you want. Omaha team would be considered a start up because it wont be the Beef.. Actually I was counting SC as your only legit team and Wichita being .5. Funny how SC has put themselves in SF shoes and all is Roses. WE over pay but you take the same players and it's legit. Invite us down to SC to play and we put 100 on you. No Sour grapes here, just saying it like it is..

He's just crabby because he knows that if Bob makes this work, we have a season, maybe two left in franchise history. We are so awesome when we sign all stars! When we were just over paying our old guys we were a Jensen fumble on the goal line from getting beat by the Bandits.

Exactly - Bob has already showed the quality of the players in a league or with teams isn't exactly as important as one would think. Now, can he continue to show it with his own league?

I would never say Sioux Falls would overpay players. But I did say even before the Storm and Outlaws title game in the practice facility that Dixon will be playing in Sioux Falls the next season. Thanks to BC's archived post I can prove that. It was also obvious that anytime there was a big name free agent, he would end up in SF or Billings. I cannot remember the name of the WR that played for the Bloomington Extreme, but we had the allstar game in Sioux City and everyone knew he was going to Billings the next season, even though he denied it. Guess what he ended up there.

Since their FB page is blowing up over this I thought I would bring it up in here and see what others thought. Do you think Omaha should stay with their ugly ass orange and black colors or go in a new direction? I would only assume the will have a new logo and what not also.

I am all about a fresh look, but flashy uniforms cost money. If I were a beef fan I would prefer a solid front office and game day product before I cared about high end Nike or UNder Armour jerseys

It's not the fans driving this bouncer, but the team. They are asking what fans think of a new look and colors and they started with saying they like the Seattle Seahawks new uni's and wanted to do something similar.

I get that, but if the Beef were my team, the LAST thing I would care about is uniforms provided they have them. Get your game system installed and fitted into the new arena, get a front office staff to answer phones and emails and sell tickets and sponsorships, etc.
Great, Ralston only has 3400 seats and tickets will "go fast"... if the maintain last years attendance levels, that's still 2000 empty seats..

I think it's a safe bet that the new owners know how to get new uni's pretty cheap.
We all agree on the priorities. I hope they do some marketing.

AT LEAST 2K seats. Hopefully Omaha gets it worked out with the new owners. It'll be fun this season seeing Omaha and Lincoln play again.

Beef ownership announced today that there will be an announcement next week Regarding the Beef. I would assume with the Rash of Season Ticket Advertisements we've seen lately, most recently from Bloomington on the CPIFL Facebook Page, that they will be announcing ticket prices.
I would Guess that they will be in line with the rest of the league seeing as they are playing in a similar arena and they want to have butts in the seats, but who's to say except the owners. Perhaps since it's a Brand New Arena the prices will be Jacked up, but I hope not.
The Ticket Prices during the IFL Run were Pretty High for the Average Person to afford. Luckily the during the 2011 Season We got a Buy One, Get One deal which allowed us to afford the tix. If they have Similar Pricing to the IFL Days then they better offer some sort of deal.

Omaha and Sioux Falls were off the rails crazy for prices... with front row seats above $50 per game...
after an eye gouging visit to many of the CPIFL team sites, front row tickets will run $28-$40 per game. Ralston may be new, but I doubt it's more expensive then the Civic...
